We recommend you make an appointment with the Office of Advising and Integrated Student Services (OAISS). OAISS is your destination for undergraduate advising, peer mentoring, and academic support.

Peer Mentoring Network

AMPD has a variety of upper-year trained peer mentors to help you navigate your undergraduate experience. Whether it is questions about your specific program, discipline, or navigating the university community, our mentors are available to provide assistance and information. Peer Mentors (SAMs) are available to answer your questions at the SAM Centre.

Faculty Mentoring

The Department of Visual Art and Art History will be launching a faculty mentoring program in the Fall of 2020, connecting each student with a faculty member they can contact for professional guidance. While AMPD’s Office of Advising and Integrated Student Services will remain your point of contact for degree requirements, Visual Art and Art History faculty can help with area specific, art-world related queries and with advice about next steps after York.
